Dr. Sierra earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Political Science from Saint Peter’s College. She earned a master’s in clinical counseling psychology with a concentration in Latino/a Mental Health. She completed her PhD in International Psychology: Trauma Services Concentration.
In her professional experience of over 17 years, she has worked with adults, children and adolescents from outpatient, residential and home/community environments. She has specifically worked with post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, anxiety, behavioral challenges, chronic mental illness, and complex trauma. Dr. Sierra conducts comprehensive evaluations for immigration cases.
At the international level, Dr. Sierra has served survivors of sexual violence through developing and supporting psycho-social programs in Guatemala, Bolivia, and the Dominican Republic. She currently provides trauma-informed training for psychologists, social workers, and members of the public ministry who work with child trafficking survivors in Peru, Ecuador, Mexico and Jamaica.
Dr. Sierra is licensed as a Professional Counselor in Washington, DC, Maryland, Virginia, and Texas. She is also a National Certified Counselor. Dr. Sierra is certified by the District of Columbia’s Superior Courts as a Subject Matter Expert -Child Therapist.
Dr. Sierra has been awarded the 2021 & 2023 Central American Awards as a Community Psychologist and the 2021 Distinguished Student Award from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.

Mariella Toribio earned her Bachelor of Arts in Women’s Studies and Psychology from Florida International University. She earned her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She is continuing to pursue her doctorate in International Psychology with a concentration in Trauma Services.
In her professional experience she has worked with young adults suffering from adjustment disorders, self-esteem issues, life transitions and trauma. Her passions include advocacy, mental health education, and cultural competency.
She is currently and active member of the American Counseling Association, Association for Multicultural Counseling and Development, and the American Psychological Association.

Luis Ocampo earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at American Military University. He is receiving his Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in 2022. Luis has experience volunteering at churches, working with underserved populations and low-income families, including adolescents and adults with addictions. In his military career, he mentored and counseled service members, helping them develop professionally and personally. Luis plans to pursue a doctorate degree in clinical psychology with a concentration in Trauma and Substance Abuse. Luis is currently an active member of the American Counseling Association.

Daniela Romero earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at The University of Texas at El Paso. She will be earning her Master of Arts in Forensic Psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology with a concentration in addictions in 2023. Daniela has experience as a research assistant working with Hispanic/Latinx justice involved families. She has also worked with detained immigrants in the border to advocate for their release. Daniela is currently an Addictions Counseling NBCC Minority Fellow and plans to pursue a doctorate degree in clinical psychology.

Ana Mejia Graduated as a Certified Public Accountant and worked at a financial institution for 7 years. She graduated from Carlos Rosario International Public Charter School from the following Programs: Culinary Arts, Small Business, Entrepreneurship, ESL, A+ Technician, Microsoft Office Application, and IT Fundamentals. She currently works as an Interim Executive Director in a Non-Profit based in Washington DC and provides Administrative Services through her business called Catharsis Administrative Services.

Isabella is a full-time student at the University of Baltimore, currently completing her last year. She is passionate about working with the Latinx immigrant community. She has experience in serving communities in need by being a tutor and serving children with special needs. She hopes to complete her bachelor’s degree in psychology and continue her studies.

Julianna Szabolcs earned her Bachelors of Arts and Science in Psychology and Communications at the University of Pittsburgh. She is receiving her Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology in 2021. In her professional experience she has worked as a volunteer and milieu therapist at UPMC Western Psychiatric inpatient unit. She worked with adolescents and adults with illnesses ranging from addiction, mood disorders, and autism disorders.
Julianna plans to pursue a doctorate degree in clinical psychology with a concentration in Trauma and Substance Abuse. She is currently an active member of the American Counseling Association, the American Psychological Association, and the National Society of Leadership and Success.
